Cops Help Woman to Give Birth Inside Police Patrol Car

Two police officers helped a woman to give birth inside a police patrol car in Daet, Camarines Norte.

Police officers PMSg. Gilbert Morales and PSSg. Devid Roy Cacho were conducting their regular patrol near La Consolacion College when they noticed a pregnant woman who appeared to be in distress.

The woman was having difficulty sitting and clearly needed urgent help. Without hesitation, the officers approached her and quickly realized that she was close to giving birth.

Understanding the seriousness of the situation, the officers immediately assisted the woman and transferred her to their police mobile car. Their goal was to bring her as fast as possible to the Camarines Norte Provincial Hospital so she could receive proper medical care. Every second mattered, and the officers acted with urgency and care.

However, while they were still on the way to the hospital, the woman’s condition suddenly worsened. Before they could reach the emergency room, she went into active labor. With no time left and only limited equipment available, the two officers remained calm and focused.

Inside the patrol car, the cops carefully assisted the woman as she delivered her baby. Thanks to their quick response and presence of mind, the baby was safely born, and both mother and child were kept stable until they could receive further medical attention.

The situation could have ended very differently, but the officers’ dedication and compassion made a life-saving difference.

The Daet Municipal Police Station, led by PLt. Col. Charles De Leon, praised the two officers for their swift action, courage, and genuine concern for the public. Their actions showed that police work goes beyond enforcing the law and includes serving and protecting lives in moments of crisis.
