Vice Pres. Sara Duterte Cites Accomplishments of OVP this 2025
SARA DUTERTE – The Vice President vowed that her office will continue to show the Filipinos that having plans is important to the OVP.
Another year is about to end. Truth be told that the government in the Philippines now is surrounded by a lot of issues. Both the President and the Vice President are faced with corruption issues. Vice Pres. Duterte remains questioned by the P625-million confidential funds of the Office of the Vice President (OVP) and the Department of Education (DepEd).
Impeachment complaints were filed against Duterte but the Supreme Court previously ruled that the impeachment complaint transmitted by the House of Representatives to the Senate was unconstitutional. Amid the rumors against him, Pres. Bongbong Marcos denied ordering his allies over the impeachment case against Vice Pres. Sara Duterte. According to him, he himself may be impeached if he will do it.
In the case of Marcos Jr., he was accused by resigned Ako Bicol Partylist Representative of allegedly ordering a P100-billion budget insertion in the 2025 national budget. The former House Budget Appropriations Committee chairman also claimed that the President and former House Speaker Martin Romualdez allegedly received a P56-billion kickback all for themselves.
Senator Imee Marcos also accused Pres. Bongbong Marcos of allegedly using illegal drugs. It triggered calls for the President to step down from the presidency. Amid the calls, Vice Pres. Sara Duterte claimed that she is ready to assume the presidency if Marcos Jr. resigns from his position.
According to the Vice President, she understands her duty as she presented herself to the Filipino people as vice president that she is the next in the line of succession. She claimed that it is allegedly no longer a question of what she will do if she assumes the president.
Recently, Vice Pres. Sara Duterte, through a video posted on social media, cited the accomplishments of the Office of the Vice President (OVP) this 2025. She mentioned the following in her video message for the Filipino people:

- Disaster Relief and Relief for Individuals in Crises and Emergencies Program
- Pagbabago One Million Learners and Trees Campaign
- Mag Negosyo Ta ‘Day
- Libreng Sakay Program
- Accountability and Operation Excellence
Through the post, Vice Pres. Sara Duterte assured the Filipinos that the OVP will continue to show that having plans is important to them. She also called on the people to continue being strong amid the crises and to continue loving the country.
