Lolito Go Speaks Out on the Lean de Guzman and Vinz Jimenez Issue
LOLITO GO – The songwriter and poet defended Lean de Guzman by saying that being hurt does not give anyone the right to destroy another person. He admitted that Lean made serious mistakes—she was already in a relationship, benefited from Vinz, and was not fully honest.
However, he said these mistakes do not justify responding with actions that cause even more harm. According to him, posting private conversations online without permission is illegal under the Data Privacy Act of 2012 and may also lead to cyber libel, harassment, or unjust vexation, especially if the goal is to shame, attack, or ruin someone’s name.
Lolito explained that even if someone is part of a private conversation, it does not mean they are allowed to share it publicly. He also pointed out the role of a third person who asked leading questions, suggesting that the intention was not really to correct what was wrong but to create drama or gain personal interest. What worried him most was how the issue turned into repeated online content. Sending “gifts” that contained screenshots and posting updates day after day showed planning and intent.

For him, this proved that the issue was no longer about closure or justice, but about public embarrassment, attention, and approval from online audiences. He stressed that real accountability should involve talking directly, ending the connection, filing a proper complaint if needed, and choosing to heal without using another person’s dignity as a tool.

Meanwhile, the issue began after Vinz Jimenez publicly exposed Lean for allegedly cheating on him. In a lengthy post, he shared his side by explaining how his connection with Lean started, how she opened up about past emotional pain, and how her behavior later made him suspicious. He described how she often became unreachable, avoided calls, and acted secretive, which eventually led him to discover that she was living with another partner.
Vinz said he felt deeply betrayed, especially since he had already experienced cheating before. He explained that he decided to speak publicly because he wanted to warn the other man involved and believed that exposing the situation would help prevent similar behavior.
