Female Netizen Expresses Frustration After Her Child Nearly Ate Pandesal Containing Nail
A female netizen became upset after her child nearly ate a pandesal she had purchased that had a small nail inside.
Recently, Ynah, a Facebook user, shared photos of the pandesal she bought with a nail inside. The post quickly went viral on social media and received various reactions from the online community.
According to her account, her toddler was eating the second piece of pandesal during merienda when the child suddenly spit something out into her hand. Thankfully, her child is very sensitive when it comes to food texture and immediately spits out anything that feels rough.

The child’s reaction may have prevented a serious accident, as they then discovered the small nail mixed inside the bread.
The mother went back to the bakery to report the incident. She said the vendor refused at first to let her speak with the owner. After several attempts, she was eventually allowed to talk to someone introduced as the manager.
Instead of showing concern, she felt that the response was careless and unprofessional, with the bakery even suggesting that the nail may have come from their home.

Ynah explained that they do not keep such tiny nails around, especially with a toddler in the house. She felt blamed instead of being reassured about her child’s safety.
The female netizen plans to report the incident to the municipal sanitary office for proper investigation. She made it clear that her goal is not to ruin a business, but to warn others and protect families, especially young children.
