Jinkee Pacquiao Responds to Miss Universe Comparison
JINKEE PACQUIAO – The wife of boxing legend and former senator Manny Pacquiao reacted to comparisons between her and Miss Universe 2025 winner Fatima Bosch of Mexico.
The comparison came from an online personality, “Senyora,” who encouraged Filipinos to support Fatima in addition to the Philippines’ own representative, Ahtisa Manalo. In a Facebook post on November 21, Senyora wrote, “Bukod po sana kay Ahtisa, isupport din natin ang isa pang Pinay na nilalaban tayo. Laban po Ms Jinkee Pacquiao!”
Jinkee responded politely but with humor, saying, “Parang ang layo naman Senyora pero thank you na rin God bless you Senyora!” Even after Fatima was crowned Miss Universe 2025, Senyora continued the friendly exchange, praising Jinkee and celebrating the win as a victory for the Philippines, writing, “Still a win for the Philippines! Congrats Madam Jinkee! You’ve made the Philippines and Sen. Manny proud! Para sayo ang laban na to!”

Meanwhile, Fatima Bosch’s victory has sparked some controversy. Some people remain unconvinced about her win, and Lebanese-French musician Omar Harfouch, who was supposed to be a judge for Miss Universe 2025, called her a “fake winner.” Harfouch resigned from the judging panel two days before the competition and later voiced his concerns publicly.

He claimed that a secret and unofficial vote decided the Top 30 contestants before the official judges arrived. According to him, the vote involved individuals who were not part of the official panel, including at least one person allegedly in a romantic relationship with a contestant. He also cited possible issues such as cheating, misuse of power, dishonesty, rule violations, and conflicts of interest. Harfouch warned that judges who join the final jury could face legal consequences if the results are proven to be manipulated.

Further details of the allegations will be revealed in an HBO documentary set to air in May 2026, which aims to clarify the controversy surrounding Miss Universe 2025.
