Customer Cancels Order, Delivery Rider Forced to Pay
A netizen shared her frustration after a customer canceled a food order that her father, a Foodpanda delivery rider, had picked up for delivery because the customer claimed it was too expensive.
Dee Vine explained that her father was assigned to pick up a meal from Chowking Gaisano. When he arrived at the customer’s location to deliver the order, the customer suddenly refused to accept it, saying it was too expensive and that she would not take it.
Dee pointed out that even though the order was not very costly, once a rider picks up the food, it is considered sold and cannot be returned. Because of this, her father had to pay for it himself.
