Around 11:30 a.m. on Friday, October 17, 2025, a UV Express van rammed into several motorcycle riders near the Philcoa area in what appeared to be a case of road rage. According to witnesses, a heated argument reportedly broke out between the driver of the UV Express and a group of motorcycle riders before the situation turned into chaos.
In the video, the white UV Express can be seen suddenly speeding forward and hitting the motorcycles. The impact caused several riders to fall and get dragged along the road. Motorcycle parts were scattered across the area while injured riders were seen struggling to get up.
After the crash, the UV Express reportedly fled toward Fairview, leaving the injured riders behind. Responders from the Metropolitan Manila Development Authority (MMDA) immediately arrived at the scene to assist the victims and clear the road of debris.
Authorities have since launched a search for the driver of the van, who may face serious charges for reckless and violent behavior on the road.
Road safety advocates continue to urge motorists to stay calm and avoid confrontation to prevent similar incidents that endanger innocent lives.
