Lala Vinzon Faces Charges Filed by Ex-Partner
LALA VINZON — The actress, singer, and beauty queen, who is the daughter of veteran action star Roi Vinzon, is facing several criminal charges filed by her former live-in partner, Atty. Mark Tolentino.
According to a report from Bilyonaryo News Channel on October 12, 2025, Tolentino filed multiple complaints against Lala at the Mandaluyong City Prosecutor’s Office, accusing her of perjury, falsification of public documents, obstruction of justice, oral defamation, and unjust vexation.
The report stated that an altercation occurred in August 2025, following an incident at a government office. Tolentino claimed that Lala shouted at him inside their vehicle during the argument. Witnesses — including Tolentino’s driver, secretary, and house helper — reportedly saw the confrontation and will testify in his favor. They described the lawyer as calm while the actress allegedly yelled at and physically hurt him.
Perjury refers to lying under oath or giving false statements during legal proceedings, while falsification of public documents involves altering or forging official government papers. Obstruction of justice is any act that interferes with or hinders a legal investigation. Oral defamation pertains to spoken words that can harm a person’s reputation, and unjust vexation means intentionally disturbing or annoying someone without valid reason.
As of this writing, Lala Vinzon has not released any public statement regarding the complaints. The Philippine Entertainment Portal (PEP.ph) reached out to her via email for comment, but she has yet to respond. Her Instagram and Twitter accounts also appear to have been deactivated.
Lala is one of four children of Roi Vinzon and his wife, Jeany David-Vinzon, a former band vocalist. She began her showbiz career in 2017 as a contestant on The Voice Teens, where she finished as first runner-up. In September 2021, she officially signed with Sparkle GMA Artist Center and later ventured into pageantry as the representative of Mexico, Pampanga, in Binibining Pilipinas 2022.
