KPop Demon Hunters Singers Wow Fans Live
EJAE, AUDREY NUNA, AND REI AMI — The voices behind Rumi, Mira, and Zoey in the popular animated film KPop Demon Hunters — amazed the audience with their first live performance of the hit song “Golden” on the October 8 episode of The Tonight Show Starring Jimmy Fallon. Wearing matching black outfits, the three singers impressed everyone with their energy and talent, performing one of the film’s most loved songs that also shows the stories of their characters.
The huge success of KPop Demon Hunters still feels unreal for the artists. Audrey Nuna shared that they are still trying to find the right words to explain how much the film’s impact means to them. She also talked about a moment during her trip to South Korea that made her realize how big the movie had become.
When she got off at Dongdaemun Station, she saw an old man performing Golden using a traditional Korean instrument. He looked so cool that she had to look twice. Nuna explained that in Korea, it’s very special when an elder likes your work since they don’t give compliments easily. For her, seeing someone from the older generation enjoy something like this meant a lot.

Even host Jimmy Fallon praised the movie and called it amazing. He shared that he first planned to watch it with his daughters, but after seeing it, he enjoyed it so much that he wanted to play the songs all day.

The KPop Demon Hunters soundtrack — which includes Golden, Soda Pop, Your Idol, and Takedown — has reached incredible success. It was certified platinum by the Recording Industry Association of America (RIAA) after selling more than one million copies. Golden also became a global hit, reaching number one on the Billboard Global 200 and topping music charts in many countries.
