Kakai Bautista: “Yung mga bida-bida diyan nu’ng eleksyon, it’s your time to shine”
KAKAI BAUTISTA – The singer-comedienne went viral online after she called out politicians who were very active and outspoken during the election season but have since remained silent. In a video posted on her Facebook page, Kakai reminded elected officials that now is the proper time to fulfill the promises they made to the Filipino people during the elections.
She urged government leaders to begin working and serving the public sincerely, saying that those who sought attention and made numerous promises during the campaign should now take genuine action. Kakai emphasized that this is no longer the time for words but for action, noting that the people have already done their part by voting for them.

Addressing government agencies and local officials, she reminded them that serving the public is not a favor but their duty. She encouraged them to start distributing Go Bags and emergency kits to help citizens prepare for disasters, especially since the country has been experiencing frequent earthquakes. Kakai said leaders should take this as an opportunity to prove their dedication to public service.

She commended Pasig City Mayor Vico Sotto for taking the initiative to distribute Go Bags without waiting for instruction. She also mentioned that cities such as Taguig, Quezon City, and San Juan have begun similar efforts, but she urged all local governments to ensure that every household—not just students or selected groups—receives the same assistance.
Kakai pointed out that many Filipinos cannot afford their own emergency kits, especially those who are financially struggling. She reminded public officials that this is the time to take action and serve, not to make excuses. According to her, true leaders act with compassion and initiative, serving the people who entrusted them with their votes and confidence.
