Chuckie Dreyfus Speaks Up for Jillian Ward
CHUCKIE DREYFUS — The actor and TV personality defended Kapuso star Jillian Ward after rumors spread linking her to former Ilocos Sur Governor Luis “Chavit” Singson.
In a recent media interview, Singson denied the allegations, saying they were merely gossip. He added that many people had previously linked him to different women, but none of those stories were true.
On Wednesday, October 22, Chuckie Dreyfus shared a heartfelt post on Facebook to show his support for Jillian. He said he has known her since she was six years old and has watched her grow into a talented and kind young woman. According to him, Jillian often confided in him about her victories, struggles, and dreams. He said he has witnessed how much effort and sacrifice she has put into her career.
Chuckie said he couldn’t stay silent while people continued to question and judge Jillian. He explained that he had seen the hard work behind her success and that she had already told him about the issue even before it went public.
He also reminded Jillian that people will always have something to say, but she doesn’t need to explain herself to anyone. He said her success was built on hard work, patience, and faith. Chuckie told Jillian how proud he is of her, encouraging her to stay strong, be herself, and remember her worth. He said she has always led with love and is someone truly worth admiring.
His message came after Jillian became emotional during her interview on Fast Talk with Boy Abunda, where she addressed false claims that her mother was “selling” her for money or gifts. Jillian said the accusations were very painful and that her parents raised her properly. She explained that everything she has today came from her own effort and that her mother would never do such a thing. She added that it hurts to see her mother being dragged into lies when she has done nothing wrong.
