Chavit Singson Reacts to Rumors About Him and Jillian Ward
CHAVIT SINGSON – The former Ilocos Sur governor has finally addressed the rumors linking him to Kapuso actress Jillian Ward.
Following earlier gossip claiming he had a child with actress Yen Santos, Singson is now being associated with Jillian. Several blind items circulating online appear to point to the former governor and the young actress, suggesting that there might be something special between them. Some netizens have even started to believe that the two have become close.
When Singson recently spoke with the select members of the entertainment media, he was directly asked if the rumors about him and Jillian were true. The former politician firmly denied the allegations, saying there was no truth to them and reminding the public not to believe everything they read or hear.
“Marites lang yun, Marites lang,” Singson said. “Naririnig ko nga yan. Marami ngang nali-link sa akin. Pero puro Marites yun.”
However, when asked again about his rumored relationship with Yen Santos, Singson gave a different response. Instead of denying it, he simply smiled and said, “Next question,” followed by a light laugh. He then politely asked the reporters not to ask further questions about the women he has been linked to.
Meanwhile, Chavit SIngson is best known for serving several terms as governor of the province of Ilocos Sur. He became nationally known in 2001 after exposing the jueteng scandal that led to the impeachment of President Joseph “Erap” Estrada.
Singson is also a successful entrepreneur, leading the LCS Group of Companies, with businesses in construction, transport, and energy. He’s known for his wealth, love for luxury cars, and active involvement in tourism and entertainment projects, including the Miss Universe Philippines events.
