After Guilty Verdict, Archie Alemania Remains Silent
ARCHIE ALEMANIA – The actor remains silent after being found guilty in the acts of lasciviousness case filed against him by actress-singer Rita Daniela.
According to Rita’s lawyer, Atty. Maggie Abraham-Garduque, Archie’s camp has not yet taken any legal action following the court’s decision. She confirmed that they have not received any document or notice from Archie’s side. Archie’s lawyer, Atty. Noel Gracilla, could not be reached for comment.
Based on legal procedure, Archie has 15 days to file an appeal or a motion for reconsideration, but so far, nothing has been filed. Despite the issue, Archie has not released any public statement in the media or on social media. His most recent Instagram story, posted on October 30, 2025, showed him wearing an orange prison uniform, reportedly from the set of FPJ’s Batang Quiapo, where he is part of the cast. Friends of the actor clarified that he is not actually in jail and that the photo was taken while filming a scene.
Some of Archie’s friends expressed concern about his situation, especially since he lost work when the case began. They worry about what will happen to him now that the court has found him guilty. Still, they were relieved to see him working again and hope that his career will continue despite the controversy.
Meanwhile, Rita Daniela expressed her gratitude for the court’s decision. She said the justice she received is not only for her but also for all men and women who have experienced harassment, abuse, or molestation and were unable to speak up for themselves. She said this victory is for everyone who went through the same pain and serves as hope for those still fighting for justice.
