SHUVEE ETRATA – The Kapuso rising star has finally spoken up after going viral for expressing her support for former President Rodrigo Duterte.
On Tuesday, September 23, Shuvee addressed the issue through an Instagram story, where she apologized to those who were hurt or disappointed by her previous statement, which recently spread online. “Maayong adlaw sa tanan! I’m deeply grateful for the support many of you have shown. Bago lang po lahat to sa akin. Kaya pasensya na po sa lahat ng na-disappoint at nasaktan ko,” Shuvee wrote.
She acknowledged that many people were upset by her comments and took full responsibility for her words. According to Shuvee, she usually avoids talking about politics because it is a very sensitive and divisive topic. However, she admitted that this experience has been a valuable lesson for her.

“Huwag po kayong mag alala, natuto na po ako. Lalawakan ko pa po ang pag-iisip ko para sa ating lahat. I will continue to learn and grow. Mahal ko po kayo at mahal ko ang Pilipinas lalo na sa panahon ngayon” she said. She ended her statement by emphasizing, “I stand for and with the Filipino people-always.”
