SARA DUTERTE – The Vice President lamented not being part of the big decisions concerning the Philippines and spoke about the protest actions.
It is no secret to the Filipino people that the rift between Pres. Bongbong Marcos and Vice Pres. Duterte have gone deep. The Vice President believes that the Marcos Jr. administration is allegedly behind the impeachment moves against her.

For his part, Pres. Bongbong Marcos denied ordering his allies over the impeachment case against Vice Pres. Sara Duterte. According to him, he has no role in the impeachment case against the Vice President and he himself might be ousted from his position if he will order his allies for her ouster.

Currently, amid the soured relationship between the President and the Vice President, the Philippines is dealing with several pressing issues including the issue of massive corruption in the government. The flood control mess wherein several senators and congressmen are accused of receiving kickbacks from the flood control projects left countless Filipinos dismayed.
Even the President is aware of the upcoming protest actions that are scheduled tomorrow, September 21. It is dubbed as the “Trillion Peso March” and will be held in EDSA. It is expected to gather around 30,000 people. According to Vice Pres. Sara Duterte, she hopes that the government will listen to the voices of the people who are not in the position.

Based on a report on GMA News, Vice Pres. Sara Duterte seems unsure if the protest actions can help so the government will listen to the people but she hopes that it will. She hopes that the “Trillion Peso March” will be the way to get the attention of those who are in the position.

The Vice President also claimed that if there is only one voice like hers, it might be accused of just politicking. According to her, hopefully, the government will really listen to the voices of ordinary citizens who tell them that what they are doing is wrong.
Vice Pres. Sara Duterte lamented not being part of the big decisions concerning the Philippines. Based on the report, she stressed that the government is allegedly setting aside a person who just wants to work.
“Nasasayangan ako. Nasasayangan ako para sa bayan dahil isinasantabi nila ‘yung isang tao na gusto lang magtrabaho,” the Vice President said.
