Raffy Tulfo Staffer Trends for Looking Like Angeli Khang
ANGELI KHANG LOOK-ALIKE? – A female staff member of Senator Raffy Tulfo at the Senate Blue Ribbon Committee hearing on September 18 went viral after netizens noticed her striking resemblance to the actress.
While Senator Jinggoy Estrada was speaking and calling for former DPWH engineer Brice Hernandez to be cited in contempt, the camera repeatedly focused on the woman instead. This quickly caught viewers’ attention, and the clip, posted by DWAR Abante Radyo, spread rapidly on social media.
Netizens flooded the comments section with jokes and lighthearted remarks, praising the cameraman for his timing and focus. Many compared the staffer to Angeli Khang and called her the “highlight” of the hearing, providing a moment of humor amid the tense discussion on alleged corruption in flood control projects.

Meanwhile, during the September 18 Senate Blue Ribbon Committee hearing, several key figures were cited in contempt in connection to the flood control project controversy.
Pacifico “Curlee” Discaya II was cited in contempt for lying about why his wife, Sarah, was absent from the hearing. He claimed she missed the session due to a heart condition, but the committee revealed a letter Sarah sent, stating she was attending a pre-scheduled meeting with her employees instead. Because of this, Discaya was ordered to be detained under the custody of the Senate Sergeant-at-Arms.

Henry Alcantara, former DPWH Bulacan 1st District engineer, was also cited in contempt. Despite evidence of ghost flood control projects under his jurisdiction, he denied knowledge of these projects, prompting the Senate to take action against him.
Brice Hernandez was likewise cited in contempt after making serious allegations that certain senators were involved in irregularities related to flood control projects. Hernandez later requested that his contempt status be lifted so he could gather additional evidence to support his claims.

The session also featured a notable moment when Senator Joel Villanueva demonstrated how easily photos and metadata can be altered. This was in response to accusations made by DPWH Assistant Engineer JP Mendoza, who presented screenshots allegedly showing Villanueva requesting a P1.5 billion budget for a multi-purpose building. Villanueva showed how quickly such screenshots could be fabricated, emphasizing the need for stronger evidence before drawing conclusions.
