GERALD ANDERSON – The actor has finally spoken up about the rumors linking volleyball player Vanie Gandler to his recent breakup with actress Julia Barretto. Gerald admitted that he was at fault for the end of their relationship but firmly denied that Vanie had any involvement.
In a vlog by talent manager and showbiz columnist Ogie Diaz, Ogie revealed that Gerald personally called him to clear the air. “Tumawag si Gerald para linawin ang isyu sa breakup nila ni Julia Barretto. Una na diyan ang kanyang paglilinaw na hindi si Vanie Gandler ang dahilan,” Ogie shared.
According to Ogie, Gerald emphasized that he does not personally know Vanie and has never had any communication with her. “Matagal na raw itong Vanie Gandler isyu, pero ito’y wala raw katotohanan talaga. Ni hindi nga raw niya ito kilala nang personal o nakakausap o nakaka-text o katawagan. Nanonood lamang daw siya ng laro ng volleyball pero hindi para tutukang panoorin si Vanie. Ini-link lang siya dito,” Ogie explained.
Regarding his breakup with Julia, Gerald admitted that he was at fault, although he chose not to reveal specific details about what caused the split. Ogie added that Gerald admitted there were other reasons involved and that he was to blame, but he didn’t go into details.
