Vice Ganda Stays as Endorser Despite Rumors
Rumors have been circulating online claiming that Heart Evangelista replaced Vice Ganda as the celebrity endorser of a well-known fast food chain. However, a reliable source familiar with the actual negotiations clarified that this is not true.
The speculation arose shortly after Vice made a “jetski holiday” joke during the recent Super Divas concert with Regine Velasquez. The joke did not sit well with staunch supporters of former President Rodrigo Duterte, who then called for a boycott of the fast food brand that Vice endorses. Actress Vivian Velez, a known Duterte supporter, was among the most vocal critics. She even shared a photo of herself eating a burger from another brand, urging the public to avoid not only the fast food chain but also other products endorsed by Vice.
Amid the heated reactions, photos of Heart Evangelista surfaced online showing her as a new ambassador of the same fast food chain. This fueled the belief that she had taken Vice’s place. The insider, however, clarified that there was no replacement. Heart was simply added as part of the growing roster of celebrity endorsers, which still includes Vice.

The timing of Heart’s endorsement photos appearing just days after Vice’s controversial joke created the false impression that she had replaced him. The source emphasized that the relationship between Vice and the company remains positive and intact.

According to the insider cited by PEP.ph, rumors that Vice’s contract was not renewed have no solid basis. The partnership continues, and there are no indications that it will end anytime soon. As of press time, neither Vice Ganda, Heart Evangelista, nor the well-known fast food chain has issued any statement regarding the rumors.
