Vice Ganda Explains Why He Ate at a Fast Food Restaurant After the GMA Gala

Vice Ganda Spotted in Fast Food After Gala

VICE GANDA – The well-known host of It’s Showtime, explained why he and his co-hosts went to a popular fast food restaurant—where he is also an endorser—right after attending the GMA Gala 2025 held last Saturday, August 2.

Vice was one of the Kapamilya stars invited to the event, since It’s Showtime now airs on GMA Network every noon. He was joined by co-hosts Jhong Hilario, Cianne Dominguez, Ryan Bang, Darren Espanto, Ogie Alcasid, and Anne Curtis.

Just like in the first gala, Vice stood out with his fashionable outfit and lively personality. After the event, instead of going straight home, he and his group decided to stop by the fast food restaurant. Customers and staff were thrilled to see him, especially since he was still wearing his full gala attire.

Some netizens asked why he still had to eat, wondering if he didn’t get full from the food at the gala. One fan account even joked, “Bakit n’yo naman ginutom si Meme?”

To avoid confusion or rumors, especially from people in the GMA Network, Vice quickly explained. In a post on X (formerly Twitter), he said the food at the ball came in small servings. He joked that he’s used to eating big meals and that the food there was sweet and fancy, but not filling. “Sweet lang kasi ang mga subo sa Ball. Sanay ako sa lamun,” he wrote.

Because of all the chatting and socializing, Vice admitted he didn’t get to eat properly—so he made up for it afterward with a more satisfying meal.
