Kitty Duterte Shares Reaction of Dad Rodrigo Duterte on Supreme Court Ruling
RODRIGO DUTERTE – The former President was told about the Supreme Court ruling in the impeachment case against his daughter, Vice Pres. Sara Duterte.
Former Pres. Duterte is detained under the custody of the International Criminal Court (ICC) in The Hague, Netherlands for around five (5) months now. According to his youngest daughter, Kitty Duterte, former Pres. Duterte has grown long white beard and he has white eyebrows now and blonde hair inside the ICC detention center. It’s her turn to visit the former President.

Kitty Duterte admitted that she was worried about her father when she was in the Philippines as she was not able to visit him for a few months due to her studies. According to her, she kept asking her siblings and her father’s lawyer about what to expect about the former President. She stressed that nothing has changed except for his beard and eyebrow and hair color.

Kitty Duterte also confirmed that former Pres. Rodrigo Duterte was indeed brought to the hospital but assured that her father is fine. According to her, considering that her father is now 80 years old and is not in perfect shape, he has a routine medical check-up.
Based on a post, the youngest among the Duterte siblings also confirmed that former Pres. Rodrigo Duterte already knew about the decision of the Supreme Court on the impeachment case against Vice Pres. Sara Duterte. Prior to the start of the 20th Congress, the Supreme Court declared the articles of impeachment against Vice Pres. Sara Duterte as “unconstitutional” for not following the one-year rule.

According to Kitty Duterte, former Pres. Rodrigo Duterte is “very happy” over the Supreme Court ruling on the impeachment case against Vice Pres. Sara Duterte. Based on the post, the youngest daughter of the former Chief Executive also shared that their father is “extremely proud” of her sister.
“He’s very happy about it. He sends his regards to my sister and he told her that he is extremely proud of her,” Kitty said.

Following the Supreme Court ruling on her impeachment case, Vice Pres. Sara Duterte claimed that “our country deserves better” leaders. Her camp welcomed the decision of the high court but maintained that they are ready to answer to the allegations against the Vice President.
Vice Pres. Sara Duterte also asserted that they answer allegations over misused confidential funds in the proper forum and venue. Following the Supreme Court ruling, 19 senators voted to archive the impeachment case against the Vice President.
