Jam Magno: “She’s guwapa, she’s matalino, she has the background…”
JAM MAGNO – The social media personality has appealed to President Ferdinand “Bongbong” Marcos Jr. to consider appointing a new Secretary for the Department of Tourism (DOT). In a TikTok video, Magno expressed her belief that actress and former ABS-CBN president Charo Santos would be an excellent choice for the position.
Magno explained that Santos possesses intelligence, charm, and proven leadership skills, which she demonstrated during her tenure as the top executive of ABS-CBN. She noted that Santos is also a reservist, adding to her credentials, and described her as someone with both entertainment industry experience and strong management abilities.
“This is a shoutout to President Bongbong Marcos… I’m sure you are pretty much aware that your Tourism Secretary is not performing well. I have a suggestion, Mr. President… Have you ever considered Charo Santos to be DOT Secretary? Relax! Let me explain why,” Jam Magno said.
According to Magno, Santos has an impressive work ethic and was never linked to any corruption issues while leading the network. She described the former media executive as beautiful, intelligent, experienced, and talented—qualities that she believes would make her a strong leader for the tourism sector. Magno further emphasized that having someone with Santos’ entertainment background could be an advantage in promoting the Philippines globally.
“She’s guwapa, she’s matalino, she has the background, and she got the talent of ABS-CBN! Ayaw mo no’n? You have the best in the entertainment industry…” she added.
In another TikTok video, Magno directly encouraged Santos to consider taking on the role of DOT Secretary, saying she hopes the actress will be open to the idea.
