Female Student Warns Others About Inappropriate Tricycle Driver in Capiz
A female student in Capiz warned her fellow women about a tricycle driver asking her inappropriate questions.
A lady student from Capiz State University (CAPSU) Main capus has spoken out about an uncomfortable encounter with a tricycle driver, hoping her story will serve as a warning to other students, especially those with night classes.
According to the student, who chose to be identified only as Julie, she boarded a green tricycle with the number 2551 after leaving her school. She was on her way home when the driver began asking her personal questions during the ride.

The questions included whether she lived alone in her boarding house, if she already had a boyfriend, and if she would be fine with him picking her up from school. He also asked why she was heading home early and even suggested she skip meeting her friends since he was around.
Julie said the driver’s tone and choice of questions made her feel uneasy, prompting her to give false information to protect herself. She admitted she could not predict what the driver might do next, so she remained alert until she reached her destination.
While she was unable to record the conversation, she decided to share her experience online to caution other students in the area. She urged her fellow CAPSU students, as well as those from nearby schools like Capiz National High School and SACRI, to be mindful of the tricycles they ride and to take note of the drivers’ details.
Her post stressed the importance of being cautious, especially when traveling alone, and reminded everyone that it’s always okay to withhold personal information from strangers. She encourages her fellow students to prioritize their safety and to speak up when faced with similar situations.
