Female Pastor Urges Public to Pray Over Ukay-Ukay Clothes After She Experience Terrifying Incidents
A female pastor warned the public to pray over clothes bought from thrift shops as they might be linked to evil spirits.
Recently, Anna Grace Revalde-Padillo, a Facebook user, shared this warning after experiencing three terrifying incidents connected to thrifted clothes. The post quickly went viral and drew various reactions online.
According to her post, she had just started selling ukay-ukay items online when she went through a strange series of events. During her first week of selling, she experienced repeated episodes of sleep paralysis, which she believed were linked to the thrifted clothes stored in her room.

“This is one of the rarest warnings you’ve ever read. Ipagdasal muna ang iyong biniling ukay-ukay bago mo isuot madress man o kahit na stuffed toys pa!,” she wrote.
In one of her dreams, she described being pulled by unseen hands as she carried bundles of dresses, an experience she connected to demonic forces. After these incidents, she and her husband decided to pray over the items before opening or selling them.
Padillo explained that the history of thrifted clothes is unknown, and it is possible that some items may have been used in rituals or owned by individuals with heavy spiritual burdens. For her, praying over the clothes is a way of asking for protection and ensuring peace of mind.

“Some demons will use some other stuff to come close to man to destroy their lives. If you saw movies like these, they are actually true to life. Hindi sila makakagawa ng ganyang movie kung wala silang nakuhaang ideya o pinaghugutan na totoo,” aniya,” she added.
Some netizens agreed with her and shared similar experiences, while others dismissed it as superstition. Still, the pastor emphasized that her warning was not meant to scare people, but to encourage them to be spiritually cautious.
