A concerned mom has shared her daughter’s frightening experience with a group of rugby boys outside a popular fast-food chain.
Recently, Arlene Flores Jayme, a Facebook user, shared about a frightening incident involving her daughter and a group of “rugby boys” loitering outside a fast-food chain. The post elicited comments from the online community.
According to Flores, her daughter and her friends had just finished school one afternoon when they decided to stop by Jollibee Plaza. They sat by the window when a group of young men approached, asking for food.
One of them even poked her daughter, and it was visible in a video that his eyes were red.
after a few moments, the group allegedly brought out a knife and pretended to fight in front of the students, making them feel even more unsafe. The girls had already noticed the group earlier outside, sniffing rugby, before they decided to enter the restaurant.
Frightened, the daughter called her mother, crying and saying they were too scared to leave. The group stayed outside, seemingly waiting for them. It was only when the girl’s father arrived that the situation was resolved.
He decided to personally escort each of the students to their rides to ensure they got home safely.
The mother also mentioned that her daughter had recently fallen victim to pickpocketing in the same area, raising further concerns about safety in Bacolod City. She urged local authorities and the police to address the growing threat these groups pose, especially to vulnerable high school students.
Arlene reminded the public to be cautious and avoid such groups, warning that they carry real weapons and that these encounters should never be taken lightly.
