BGC Gym Goer Harassed and Spat On

Harassment in BGC Caught on Cam

BGC – A video recently went viral on social media showing a disturbing altercation between two men in Bonifacio Global City, Taguig. In the footage posted by Junel Noe, a friend of the victim, a gym goer was seen being yelled at and even spat on in the face by another man after an apparent confrontation.

The incident occurred on July 31 at the corner of 9th Avenue and 37th Street. According to the post, the aggressor claimed the gym goer had bumped into him while walking, which triggered the confrontation. Despite the presence of a traffic enforcer trying to calm the situation, the aggressor continued to verbally assault the victim, even calling him derogatory names like “bakla” (gay), spitting on his face, and challenging him to go to the police station.

The only possible legal complaint, according to the victim’s friend, would be “unjust vexation,” a minor offense. However, the Southern Police District later stated that the man who spat on the gym goer is believed to have mental health issues.

Netizens pointed out that this was not the first time the same man had caused a public disturbance. In another viral video, he was seen shouting inside a mall, surrounded by security personnel.

Meanwhile, another controversial incident also took place in BGC involving Russian content creator Vitaly Zdorovetskiy. He was caught on video threatening to steal from a woman walking by and mocking her for wearing a face mask. He also snatched a security guard’s hat, wore it, and ridiculed another guard. Authorities later revealed that Zdorovetskiy did more than just harass security personnel—he also stole an industrial fan from a restaurant and brought it back to his hotel.
