BASTE DUTERTE – The acting Davao Mayor believes that the issue over the anomalous flood control projects in the Philippines is allegedly used as a “publicity stunt”.

All four (4) children of former President Rodrigo Roa Duterte are current in The Hague, Netherlands. The International Criminal Court has also allowed the visit of the Duterte siblings together upon the request of their father.

The recent visit of Davao City 1st District Congressman Paolo Duterte, Vice Pres. Sara Duterte, acting Davao Mayor Baste Duterte, and Kitty Duterte to their father seemed like a Duterte family reunion inside the ICC detention facility. It was the first time again since March that all four (4) Duterte siblings were complete with their father.

According to Vice Pres. Sara Duterte, the former President is really happy over their visit. She stressed that he probably misses seeing them all together. The Vice President also expressed that they will do what would make their father happy.

The 80-year-old former President is detained under the custody of the ICC since March. He is faced with an accusation of crimes against humanity over the drug war of his administration but he maintained that everything he did was for the Filipinos and the country.

Recently, following their visit inside the ICC detention facility, the Duterte siblings were interviewed. Currently, the pressing issues in the Philippines include the anomalous flood control projects in the Philippines. Pres. Bongbong Marcos was left angry and disappointed by the several ‘ghost’ and ‘substandard’ flood control projects in the country.

Based on a report on GMA News, acting Davao Mayor Baste Duterte believes that the issue over the anomalous flood control projects in the country is allegedly used as a “publicity stunt”. Previously, Manila’s 6th District Representative Benny Abante told Duterte to ask his brother over the funds the the Congressman allegedly got for the flood control projects in his district.

Following the remarks of Abante, Davao City 1st District Cong. Paolo Duterte was quick to react to his remarks over the flood control projects in his district.

On the part of Vice Pres. Sara Duterte who is also in The Hague now, Vice Pres. Sara Duterte suggested to the Marcos Jr. administration to follow her in exploring the world to consult the Filipino communities over what is doable in the country.
