Customer Complaints About Vice Comedy Club Staff
VICE COMEDY CLUB – A customer named Carina Villar shared her disappointing experience at the comedy club owned by popular comedian Vice Ganda. Carina spoke about the incident during a Facebook Live broadcast on July 13, which has already been shared several times.
According to Carina, her brother and their relatives—nearly 20 people in total—visited the comedy club on July 7. During the show, her brother joined a stage game and won a voucher, which was presented as free entrance for 10 people. However, when they tried to use the voucher, the staff informed them that it was valid for only one person. This confused and upset Carina, as she clearly remembered the hosts saying the voucher was good for 10 people. She expressed her frustration, questioning why anyone would join a group game if the prize was meant for just one person. She also felt offended when a staff member allegedly joked that all 10 of them could sit on a single chair.
Carina felt humiliated and frustrated, especially since they had traveled from far away just to visit the club. Feeling deceived, she tore up the voucher at the club’s entrance in protest. She also mentioned that their group had spent over ₱30,000 during their visit, which made their experience even more disappointing. She said that while they only expected free entrance, they were still planning to order food and drinks inside.

Carina shared her experience with veteran showbiz host Cristy Fermin, who discussed the issue on her radio program Cristy Ferminute. Cristy agreed that the prize details should have been clearly explained. Co-host Romel Chika, also a comedian, added that it’s standard practice in comedy bars to explain prizes clearly.

Both Cristy and Romel stressed that poor communication and customer handling not only harm Vice Comedy Club’s reputation but also reflect poorly on its owner, Vice Ganda.
