Two hungry puppies broke many hearts and drew comments online after they were seen eating the remains of another dog.
Recently, Jonnel Agang, a Facebook user, shared a heartbreaking scene involving two stray puppies that were found eating the remains of another dog. The post elicited comments from netizens.
According to the post, the two puppies were so hungry that they ended up feeding on the body of another puppy that had been run over multiple times by vehicles. The remains were badly torn and crushed, turning the body into unrecognizable pieces of flesh.
With no food and no one to care for them, the starving pups had no choice but to eat what they could find.
Moved by the disturbing sight, Agang and his companion decided to rescue the puppies right away. They picked them up, gave them a bath, and fed them real food. It was a small act of kindness, but it made a huge difference to the pups who had been left to survive in such harsh conditions.
“Yong nakikita nyo ba gutay gutay Isang tuta yan na ilang beses na daanan Ng mga sasakyan at Ngayon wala Ng buto puro na laman Ng tuta at kinain din nila sa sobrang gutom nila dahil nga walang canteent Dito at wala ring nag bibigay Ng pagkain kaya kinain nalang nila yong Kasama nila,” Agang said.
The post shows the sad reality many stray animals face every day including hunger, danger, and being ignored. In areas without animal shelters or feeding stations, survival becomes a daily struggle, especially for young and helpless animals.
