Rendon Labador Calls Out Zac Alviz
RENDON LABADOR – The self-proclaimed motivational speaker took to social media to criticize content creator Zac Alviz.
Zac drew backlash online after posting on Facebook that living in a condo felt like a smart investment amid the recent heavy rains and flooding. In his post, he pointed out that while many people were struggling with floods, leaking roofs, and damaged homes, condo residents could simply close their windows and relax while watching Netflix.
The post quickly went viral and was widely criticized for being insensitive—especially at a time when many Filipinos were suffering due to the severe weather. Some accused him of showing off or lacking empathy.

In response, Alviz clarified that he never meant to insult people who couldn’t afford—or simply chose not—to live in a condo. He said he only wanted to emphasize how condos can provide peace of mind and safety, particularly during disasters.
Later that same day, Zac Alviz issued a public apology. He admitted that his message came across poorly and was badly timed. He shared that he grew up in flood-prone areas like Valenzuela and Malabon, and should have been more mindful.

He also acknowledged a personal flaw—his tendency to focus on solutions more than people’s emotions. Even as a child, he said his instinct was to ask how someone became homeless rather than offer comfort first. He admitted that this mindset can sometimes make him seem insensitive or out of touch.
Alviz sincerely apologized to those hurt by his post, saying his true intention was to inspire, not to offend. He promised to be more careful moving forward, thanked those who offered respectful feedback, and expressed his support for those affected by the calamity.

Meanwhile, Rendon Labador reacted harshly and sarcastically to Alviz’s viral post, calling it insensitive. He criticized Zac’s attitude and made personal remarks about his appearance, saying his personality should match his looks.
“Napaka insensitive naman ng muka. Yabangan mo kami kapag may pang facial ka na bro. Pag kagising ko muka mo agad nakita ko, badtrip,” he said.
