Matet de Leon Asked When She Will Cry Again During Live Selling

Matet de Leon Speaks Out After Hurtful Comments During Live Selling

MATET DE LEON – The actress and TikTok live seller opened up about receiving hurtful questions during her live selling sessions.

She shared that while she was live earlier, some people rudely asked when she would cry again during her stream. She admitted that she couldn’t bring herself to treat them the same way they were treating her, saying her conscience wouldn’t allow it. She ended her post by reflecting that people can really be insensitive sometimes. In another post, she added that those comments didn’t hurt her, but she made it clear that she doesn’t want that kind of attention.

This came after an emotional moment during her live selling session on June 29, 2025. While selling a set of corned beef products, Matet suddenly paused and became emotional after seeing some offensive comments from viewers. Although she didn’t directly mention which comments upset her, a screenshot shared online revealed two of the messages that may have hurt her.

One asked if she no longer had any showbiz projects, suggesting that she had no work left in the entertainment industry. Another harsh comment brought up her late mother, Nora Aunor, saying Matet was “suplada,” which was supposedly the reason her mother left her.

These kinds of comments clearly affected Matet. However, she later explained that she wasn’t crying because she was ashamed of live selling. She proudly said that she enjoys what she does and feels happy being a TikTok live seller, especially since she sells products she personally believes in. She added that live selling brings her real joy, and she tries her best to show up for her audience no matter what she’s going through.

Matet admitted that one comment in particular really hurt her, describing it as heartless and very rude. But despite that, she thanked her loyal customers and supporters who always join her live sessions. Moving forward, she said she plans to read fewer comments during her livestreams to avoid unnecessary stress and stay focused on doing what she loves.
