ELISSE JOSON AND MCCOY DE LEON – The Kapamilya stars have officially ended their relationship after five years together. The couple released a joint statement on Instagram announcing their decision to part ways.
Elisse shared that building a family had always been her biggest dream. During their years together, she held on to that dream with hope and determination, doing her best to stay committed through love and challenges. She explained that their shared promise to stay together helped her remain strong, but eventually, it became clear that it was time to let go of that dream and allow peace, growth, and healing to begin for both of them.
Despite their efforts, both admitted they had reached the point where parting ways was the healthier choice. However, they emphasized that their story was not a failure. Their relationship gave them the most meaningful gift of all—their daughter, Felize. They shared that even though their paths are now separate, they will always be connected as Felize’s parents. She remains the bridge between them, and no matter how life changes, they will continue to be her family.
The couple decided to go public with their breakup not for drama or attention, but to give themselves the space to heal. Elisse and McCoy first met in Pinoy Big Brother: Lucky 7 in 2017, which led to their popular love team “McLisse.” They had an on-and-off relationship, separating in 2018 and reconciling in 2020. Elisse gave birth to their daughter Felize in 2021. While they tried to overcome many challenges, the couple has now decided to close this chapter and begin anew—separately but still united as parents.
