Zeinab Harake Explains Why Their Wedding Looked Grand
ZEINAB HARAKE – The vlogger addressed the buzz surrounding her June 1, 2025, wedding to basketball player Bobby Ray Parks Jr. During a live interview with Boy Abunda on Fast Talk, she clarified several rumors—including the widely circulated claim that their wedding cost ₱20 million.
Zeinab firmly denied the amount, explaining that although the wedding may have looked grand, it didn’t come close to that figure. She also laughed off online rumors that their cake alone cost ₱2 million, saying that wasn’t true.
She shared that their original plan was to have a simple and intimate ceremony. However, one of their godfathers generously helped them bring their dream wedding to life. Zeinab revealed that this ninong (whom she chose not to name) built the entire venue from the ground up over the course of five months. When they saw how beautiful the place turned out, they felt the need to honor that effort by choosing high-quality suppliers to complete the event. Because of this, the wedding ended up appearing much more extravagant than planned—but not because they spent millions.
She emphasized that the event wasn’t about flaunting wealth but about showing gratitude to the people who helped make it happen. Much of what made the celebration look luxurious, she said, came from the support and blessings they received—not from an excessive budget.
Zeinab also addressed another issue that caught attention: the use of paper plates at the wedding. She explained that these were used only in the cocktail area before the main reception. Light snacks, or pica-pica, were served to keep guests comfortable and entertained while waiting.
When asked if she was pregnant, Zeinab gave a smiling and firm “No!”—completely dismissing the rumor.
The couple ended the interview with heartfelt promises to each other, expressing their excitement for building a happy life and family together. Although Zeinab did not address her mother’s absence at the wedding, the interview focused on love, gratitude, and clearing up false claims.
