Viva Speaks Out on Rumors About Xian Lim and Louise delos Reyes Having a Child
XIAN LIM and LOUISE DELOS REYES — The two have become the subject of false rumors online, claiming they secretly have a child together.
The story spread despite the fact that the two only worked together once, in the 2019 film Hanggang Kailan. Six years after the movie’s release, this unfounded claim suddenly surfaced and quickly made the rounds on social media.
To make matters worse, some online sites even used a photo of a child to grab attention and increase clicks, further fueling the speculation.
Viva Artists Agency (VAA), which manages both Xian and Louise, promptly released an official statement to address the issue. “There are rumors circulating online which suggest that two of our artists, Louise delos Reyes and Xian Lim, have a child together. These rumors are completely false and are in fact, libelous.,” VAA stated.
The agency also criticized the use of a child’s photo as part of these misleading posts, calling it an invasion of privacy and an irresponsible act. “This is an invasion of privacy and is inappropriate, irresponsible, exploitative, and in poor taste,” they added. VAA urged the public to stop spreading these false reports and reminded everyone to be careful about believing everything they read online.
Both Xian and Louise are happily committed to their respective partners. Xian continues his relationship with his girlfriend, Iris Lee, while Louise is engaged to her non-showbiz fiancé.
Meanwhile, Xian Lim is a Filipino–American actor, model, singer, director, and host. He gained fame through TV hits like My Binondo Girl and films such as Bride for Rent. He’s also known for directing, making music, and hosting prestigious events.
On the other hand, Louise delos Reyes is an actress and former beauty queen. She started in commercials and TV at age eight and later starred in series like Alakdana, One True Love, and the indie film Agaton & Mindy. She is also a pastry chef and is now signed with Viva Artists Agency.
