The belief of the Duterte camp came amid Pres. Bongbong Marcos repeatedly insisting that he is against the impeachment of the Vice President. The issue between Marcos Jr. and Duterte was even more triggered by the controversial arrest and the transfer of the custody of former Pres. Rodrigo Roa Duterte to the International Criminal Court (ICC) in The Hague.
