Sen. Robin Padilla Raises Sara Duterte-Imee Marcos Tandem in Front of OFWs in Malaysia
ROBIN PADILLA – The actor-turned-Senator claimed that he will be the campaign manager of Vice President Sara Duterte and Sen. Imee Marcos in 2028.
It is no secret to the public that Sen. Padilla and Sen. Marcos are two (2) of the most loyal Duterte allies in the Senate and in real-life. The two (2) lawmakers of the upper chamber visibly side with the Duterte family in the controversial arrest of former Pres. Rodrigo Roa Duterte as well as the impeachment moves against Vice Pres. Sara Duterte.

During the oath-taking of the senators as senator-judges of the impeachment court in the trial against Duterte, countless Filipinos were not anymore surprised when Sen. Imee Marcos and Sen. Robin Padilla did not wear their impeachment robes. They were also among those who voted for the remand of the articles of impeachment against the Vice President to the House of Representatives.

Recently, the two (2) senators also joined Vice Pres. Sara Duterte in attending the PH Independence Day celebration of the Filipino community in Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia. The three (3) government officials spoke before the Filipinos abroad.

In his speech, Sen. Robin Padilla even drew chanting from the audience after he called Vice Pres. Sara Duterte as the “next president of the Philippines”. The audience chanted “Duterte” which the actor-turned-Senator claimed makes him even braver when he hears it.
At the event, based on a video clip posted by News5 on YouTube, Sen. Robin Padilla also claimed that he will be the campaign manager of Vice Pres. Sara Duterte and Sen. Imee Marcos in the 2028 Elections. According to him, he will not be a politician in the next election.
“Si Robin Padilla hindi pulitiko. Si Robin Padilla, sa 2028, campaign manager ako ni Inday Sara Duterte at ni Imee Marcos at siyempre ang mga senador nila, Doc Mata, Jimmy Bondoc, Atty. Hinlo, at kung sino pa ang pipiliin nila,” he said.
The actor-turned-Senator campaigned for Vice Pres. Sara Duterte and Sen. Imee Marcos telling them to remember “hope” when the next election comes. He claimed that it is the last chance of the Filipino people.
“Tandaan niyo po. Ito na ‘yung huli nating pagkakataon. Sana ‘yung mga kamag-anak natin sa Pilipinas, kakausapin niyo sila… Dadating ang panahon na kayo ay muling susulat sa inyong mga balota at pagdating ng araw na iyan, tandaan po ninyo, yung hope, yung pag-asa. Hindi pwede pong pulitika kaya kami galit na galit ni Senador Imee sa Senado kasi puro pulitika. Isantabi na natin ang pulitika… Tayo nakakulong tayo sa pulitika,” the Senator said.
At the PH Independence Day celebration in Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia, Sen. Imee Marcos joked on Padilla almost hitting Sen. Joel Villanueva and also mentioned her shouting at Sen. Risa Hontiveros. She claimed that they are really brave.
