Rendon Labador Shares His Feelings After Being Dropped by the PNP
RENDON LABADOR – The fitness vlogger and motivational speaker shared how he felt after being unexpectedly removed from the Philippine National Police (PNP)’s weight loss and fitness program.
In an interview with News5 on June 30, Rendon said he was saddened and surprised by the decision, especially since he only found out through the news and wasn’t informed directly. He shared that it hurt to be let go, especially after just one day of training. According to him, no one explained why he was removed, and he’s unsure if his workout routine was too difficult or too easy for the officers.
Rendon was initially invited by the Police Community Affairs and Development Group (PCADG) to lead the “93-Day Weight Loss and Fitness Challenge.” This initiative followed PNP Chief Police General Nicolas Torre III’s statement that overweight officers and those who could not properly handle firearms might be removed from service.

Despite the situation, Rendon said he respects the PNP’s decision and holds no hard feelings. He added that he’s still open to helping if the PNP decides to work with him again in the future. He made it clear that he remains supportive of their goals for healthier and more capable officers.
Rendon is known online for his strict, no-excuses approach to fitness and personal discipline. His involvement in the program received mixed reactions—some praised it, while others questioned the decision. Still, his participation sparked broader conversations about the importance of health and fitness within the police force.

While the PNP has not provided a clear reason for removing him from the program, Rendon said he’s staying positive. He remains committed to promoting a healthy lifestyle and is willing to help again if given the chance.
