Priscilla Meirelles Denies She Will Be in Vivamax

Priscilla Meirelles Returns to Showbiz Under Viva Artists Agency

PRISCILLA MEIRELLES — The actress denied rumors that she would be joining Vivamax, the streaming platform known for its mature content.

She clarified that her contract signing was with Viva Artists Agency (VAA), which manages various talents in mainstream entertainment. This move marks her official comeback to showbiz after spending years focusing on personal matters.

The contract signing took place on June 13, 2025, just two months after she publicly confirmed her separation from her husband, actor John Estrada. Their marriage, which began in 2011, was blessed with one daughter, Sammanta Anechka, who was present at the contract signing and even shared her aspiration to become a singer.

Now represented by Viva Artists Agency, Priscilla is looking forward to new projects, expressing gratitude for this second chance in her career. She previously appeared in several television dramas, including Be My Lady, Wildflower, Haplos, and Bagong Umaga.

Priscilla Meirelles de Almeida is a Brazilian model, actress, television host, environmental advocate, and beauty queen. She first gained international fame after winning Miss Globe International 2003, followed by her historic win as Miss Earth 2004, becoming the first Brazilian to claim the Miss Earth crown. Her victory also helped Brazil complete wins in all of the “Big Four” international beauty pageants.

Priscilla, who has Portuguese and Spanish roots, represented the Brazilian state of Amazonas in national pageants before gaining global recognition. She has also actively supported the Miss Earth pageant by co-hosting the coronation nights from 2006 to 2008 and chairing the judging panel in 2009.

In 2019, she was honored as one of The Outstanding Men and Women of the Year Philippines for her environmental work, and in 2024, she was awarded the Noble Queen Nations title.

Meanwhile, Vivamax — now rebranded as VMX — focuses mainly on adult-oriented content, while Viva Artists Agency (VAA), which Priscilla signed with, handles mainstream entertainment talents. Although both are under Viva Entertainment, they operate separately and cater to different audiences.
