Lindsay Custodio Files Abuse Case Against Estranged Husband

Lindsay Custodio Seeks Justice for Alleged Abuse

LINDSAY CUSTODIO – The former actress has filed a case against her estranged husband, Frederick Cale, under the Anti-Violence Against Women and Their Children Act (RA 9262). This was confirmed by her lawyer, Atty. Hazel Meking, in a video statement shared with GMA News Online.

According to Atty. Meking, Lindsay only recently realized the full extent of the abuse she allegedly experienced during their relationship. After coming to terms with what she went through, she decided to take legal action in hopes of finding justice. The lawyer shared that Lindsay has been deeply affected by the experience, having gone through trauma and depression, and needing psychiatric treatment to help her recover.

The abuse Lindsay claims to have endured includes sexual, psychological, verbal, emotional, and financial harm. These serious accusations reveal a pattern of mistreatment that had a lasting impact on her well-being.

In March, TV host Boy Abunda mentioned on his show Fast Talk with Boy Abunda that Lindsay had traveled to Cebu due to a cyber libel case filed against her by Cale. This suggests that legal disputes between the two are still ongoing.

As of now, GMA News Online is trying to reach Frederick Cale for his side of the story. They plan to update the public once a response is received.
