Alexie Brooks Shares Her Love Story
ALEXIE BROOKS – The Miss Eco International 2025 shared a personal side of her life in an interview with Boy Abunda on Cayetano in Action (June 2, 2025). She revealed that she is in a happy and loving relationship—with a woman—and that they’ve been together for almost a year.
During the interview, Boy initially asked about the importance of her love life and referred to her partner as a “man.” Smiling, Alexie gently corrected him, saying that her partner is actually a woman. Boy then rephrased the question, and Alexie spoke openly about how much her girlfriend means to her.
She shared that when her grandmother passed away, she was heartbroken and emotionally overwhelmed. Her partner stayed by her side the entire time, even skipping meals to ensure Alexie was okay. That experience helped Alexie realize just how deeply her partner cares. “So I’m grateful every day na she’s there to make me happy and supporting me in the dreams that I want.,” Alexie said.
This wasn’t the first time Alexie opened up about her identity. In a 2024 interview, she talked about being androgynous—explaining that she embodies both masculine and feminine traits. She said there are days when she feels more feminine, and other days when she feels more masculine—and that it’s okay to feel that way.
Alexie believes there’s no need to force yourself into a label. “Just be you,” she said. She hopes her story inspires others in the LGBTQ+ community to feel seen, accepted, and proud of who they are. Her message is clear: there’s nothing wrong with being true to yourself, as long as you’re not hurting anyone.
