SARA DUTERTE – The Vice President expressed that she is “at peace” whether she will be acquitted or charged guilty on the impeachment trial.
Vice Pres. Duterte is surrounded by several issues and accusations now. She remains being questioned by the spending of the Confidential Funds of the Office of the Vice President (OVP) and the Department of Education (DepEd).

Currently, there is a pending impeachment trial against the Vice President. Duterte is also faced with an upcoming DOJ probe on her “kill” remarks against Pres. Bongbong Marcos. According to her, she will appear at the investigation as she needs to make an oath.

Previously, following the arrest of former Pres. Rodrigo Roa Duterte last March 11, Vice Pres. Sara Duterte flew to The Hague, Netherlands for her father. She finalized the elder Duterte’s set of lawyers for his legal battle before the International Criminal Court (ICC). She stayed for more than three (3) weeks in The Hague and returned to the country in the first week of April.

Amid several instances when he refused the calls to immediately start the impeachment trial of the Vice President, Senate Pres. Chiz Escudero assured the public that the impeachment trial will push through despite the detention of Duterte’s father. He proposed a tentative schedule to begin the trial on July 30.
Currently, Vice Pres. Sara Duterte is busy joining campaign sorties in the different cities and municipalities in the country. Duterte campaigns for the senatorial candidacies of Sen. Imee Marcos, Las Piñas Representative Camille Villar, and the PDP-Laban bets. Here are the #Duter10:

The Vice President claimed that her senatorial bets share a common vision of a peaceful and prosperous country. Duterte called on the Filipinos not to vote for the candidates of Pres. Bongbong Marcos. The Chief Executive is endorsing the bets of the Alyansa Para Sa Pagbabago.
Recently, at the sidelines of the campaign event in Zamboanga, Vice Pres. Sara Duterte claimed that she does not usually talk about her impeachment trial because she does not want people to think that her campaign for her senatorial bets is about her interests. Based on a report on GMA News, she stressed that she has already accepted whatever the outcome will be.
“I told them that you just leave the impeachment to me and I am at peace, I am at peace whatever the outcome of the impeachment trial will be, whether I may be acquitted or guilty, I already accepted that, the two possibilities,” Duterte said.
Previously, Vice Pres. Sara Duterte said her lawyers are “more than confident” to win the impeachment trial. Malacañang tagged it as a strategy.
