Lady Tiktoker Visits Her Grandmother During Layover in Philippines
A lady TikToker went viral online after touching hearts after visiting her grandmother during a layover in the country.
Recently, Shiena Gabrielle Carreon, known as @shingabby, a TikTok user shared a video of a touching moment between her and her grandmother. The post circulated online and garnered various reactions from the online community.
The video shows Shiena visiting her grandmother’s home in Davao City during a short layover in the Philippines. As soon as her grandmother saw her, she immediately stood up and hugged her tightly, clearly overjoyed by the surprise visit.
“I feel happy and blessed po na nakakasama ko po siya every time na umuuwi ako sa Pilipinas, pero always din po akong naiiyak kasi umiiyak po siya kapag nakikita niya ako,” Carreon said.
Shiena works as a flight attendant and only gets to visit her family about twice a year. Despite the limited time, she always makes sure to spend a few hours with her grandmother whenever she’s home.
This visit was no different. Even though the layover was short, she made the most of it by dropping by her grandmother’s house to say hello and share some love. Their close relationship has always meant a lot to Shiena.
Carreon grew up with her grandmother’s constant support, encouragement, and reminders to stay strong and keep her faith. Her grandmother often tells her that she prays for her every single day, something that gives Shiena comfort and strength as she faces the challenges of life abroad.
“Always po sinasabi ni Lola, ‘Pinapag-pray kita araw-araw,’ kaya feel ko po wala po akong challenges na hindi kaya harapin,” she added.
