Netizens once dubbed her as “the little Julia Montes” because of their emotional acting styles and physical resemblance. According to the actress, she was honored by the comparison and expressed her gratitude to those who said about being compared to Julia.

Krystal also opened up about her experiences working on “Lavender Fields”. She admitted that she’s feeling both grateful and nervous as she worked alongside a cast filled with seasoned actors in the series.

The actress also said in an interview that she remained thankful to have the opportunity to work with those seasoned actors, as she acknowledged that what she has learned from them is priceless. She even expressed her gratitude for having fellow teen stars on set who made the experience more enjoyable.

Krystal also admitted in an interview that she felt intimidated working with veteran stars such as Diamond Star Maricel Soriano.

Siguro super na-intimidate po ako kay Miss Maricel Soriano, talaga super,” she said. “Kasi napapanood ko lang siya before, tapos parang nasa harap ko na siya. Hindi ko naman siya naka-eksena but you know, to be in one room as her, it’s really nakakakaba.

The actress added that despite the pressure, she remains optimistic and inspired by the journey ahead.
