Sen. Imee Marcos Ranks 12th in 2025 Senatorial Election
IMEE MARCOS – The netizens reacted to reelected Senator Imee Marcos wearing the barong of her late father, former President Ferdinand Marcos Sr., at the Proclamation Ceremony.
The Commission on Elections made history after it made the fastest canvassing of votes for a senatorial election this year. Last Saturday, COMELEC held the proclamation ceremony of the winning senators at the Manila Hotel Tent City.
Sen. Marcos got reelected after hitting the 12th spot in the 2025 Senatorial Election results. She got a total of 13,339,227 votes. Her reelection bid was massively endorsed by Vice Pres. Sara Duterte despite the feud between the Duterte family and the Marcos-Romualdez clan.
Sen. Imee Marcos is one of the five (5) winning candidates endorsed by Vice Pres. Duterte. She was previously part of the Alyansa Para Sa Pagbabago senatorial slate endorsed by her brother, Pres.
