Female Motovlogger May Face Charges After Traffic Altercation

Charges May Be Filed Against Female Motovlogger After Traffic Altercation

YANNA – A female motovlogger is facing possible legal action following a road altercation that occurred in Zambales. The incident was captured on video and later uploaded online, drawing widespread attention and criticism.

In the video, Yanna can be seen raising her middle finger at a motorist and accusing him of swerving and failing to check his side mirror while she was attempting to overtake. The driver, however, defended himself, stating that he did not intentionally swerve and that the uneven road surface caused his vehicle to shift slightly.

The confrontation sparked a wave of negative reactions, especially from fellow motovloggers and road safety advocates. One of the most vocal critics was senatorial candidate and motorcycle safety advocate Bonifacio Bosita.

In a public statement, Bosita pointed out that Yanna committed several violations. He emphasized that overtaking on the right side is not allowed and that she failed to alert the driver with a horn—particularly since she was already in the vehicle’s blind spot. He also noted that Yanna was riding too close to the pickup truck, making it difficult for the driver to notice her presence.

Adding to the controversy, the motorist’s family is reportedly considering filing charges against Yanna.

There are also reports circulating on social media about a supposed ordinance from the Zambales local government suggesting they plan to declare the motovlogger persona non grata, or unwelcome in the province. However, no official confirmation has been released regarding this matter.

The incident continues to attract attention online, sparking widespread discussion among netizens about proper behavior and accountability on the road. Many are debating the responsibilities that both motorists and motorcycle riders must uphold to ensure everyone’s safety. Some stress the importance of following traffic rules and being cautious in areas with poor road conditions, while others highlight the need for mutual respect and clear communication between all types of drivers.
