Bong Revilla: “Hindi ko po sasayangin ang inyong suporta”
BONG REVILLA – The reelectionist senator expressed deep gratitude to the Iglesia ni Cristo (INC) for once again placing its trust in him. In a heartfelt message posted on Facebook, Revilla gave a special shoutout to INC Executive Minister Eduardo Manalo, thanking him and the entire religious organization for their continued support.
“Maraming salamat po kay Kapatid na Eduardo Manalo at buong Iglesia ni Cristo sa inyong patuloy na tiwala sa akin, tungo sa inyong kapasyahan na ako po’y muli ninyong suportahan sa ating pagpapatuloy na manilbihan sa bayan,” Revilla wrote. He added that he will not waste the support and faith the INC has given him, emphasizing his commitment to public service under the Alyansa Para sa Bagong Pilipinas banner.
In addition to Revilla, seven other senatorial candidates have reportedly received the INC’s endorsement ahead of the May 2025 midterm elections, scheduled for May 12. The religious group, known for its large voting bloc and influence in Philippine elections, is said to have distributed sample ballots listing the endorsed candidates to its members.

According to reports from Inquirer, INC’s senatorial slate includes a mix of politicians from various parties and alliances, notably those aligned with the administration. The eight candidates believed to be endorsed by INC are:
- Sen. Bong Revilla – Lakas-CMD / Alyansa Para sa Bagong Pilipinas
- Sen. Pia Cayetano – Nacionalista Party / Alyansa
- Sen. Ronald “Bato” dela Rosa – PDP
- Sen. Bong Go – PDP
- Sen. Imee Marcos – Nacionalista Party
- Sen. Camille Villar – Nacionalista Party / Alyansa
- Rep. Rodante Marcoleta – Independent / PDP
- Former Sen. Bam Aquino – Katipunan ng Nagkakaisang Pilipino

The Alyansa Para sa Pagbabago, which President Bongbong Marcos has called his “dream team,” is composed of experienced public servants from major political parties such as the PFP, Lakas-CMD, NUP, NPC, and Nacionalista. The INC’s endorsement boosts the visibility and electoral prospects of these candidates, given the group’s well-known practice of bloc voting.
