Alexander Magno is a hobbyist musician from Balanga City, Bataan. He decided to create his own version of “Multo,” which usually carries a melancholic tone. But instead of following the song’s usual sad vibe, he added a fresh and playful touch with his ukulele.
“Ukulele is known for being a happy instrument, ‘yung sound na pino-produce niya is mostly for happy songs or tropical ang dating,” Magno explained.

The ukulele, often linked to upbeat and tropical sounds, helped shift the mood of the song completely. Alexander thought it would be interesting to mix a happy tune with lyrics that speak about longing and missed moments.
“Kaya naisip ko, what if tugtugin ko ‘yung Multo in a happy way? Nandoon ‘yung gap ‘di ba na malungkot ‘yung lyrics pero masaya ‘yung sound,” he explained.
The video quickly gained attention on TikTok. Viewers were amused by the unexpected version of the song. Some joked about being haunted by cancelled beach trips, adding a fun twist to the song’s theme.
