Vice Pres. Sara Duterte Campaigning Against Pres. Bongbong Marcos’ Bets?
SARA DUTERTE – The Vice President made a call to the Filipinos on the candidates of Pres. Bongbong Marcos this May 2025 Elections.
Vice Pres. Duterte is now back in the Philippines after staying for three (3) months at The Hague, Netherlands. She finalized the legal team of former Pres. Rodrigo Roa Duterte for his legal battle before the International Criminal Court (ICC) before she returned to the country.
Upon her return to the Philippines, Duterte met with her legal team for her impeachment trial. The Vice President stressed that her lawyers are “more than confident” to win the impeachment trial. Currently, she is busy campaigning for her candidates in the May 2025 Elections.
Vice Pres. Sara Duterte is endorsing Sen. Imee Marcos, Las Piñas Representative Camille Villar, and the PDP Laban bets. Here are the candidates of the political party of former Pres. Duterte called #Duter10:

According to Vice Pres. Duterte, her senatorial bets share a vision of a “peaceful and prosperous Philippines”. Following the arrest of former Pres. Rodrigo Roa Duterte, Sen. Imee Marcos left the Alyansa Para Sa Pagbabago endorsed by Pres. Bongbong Marcos. She also opened a Senate investigation on the arrest of the former President.
Pres. Bongbong Marcos changed the Alyansa chant after Sen. Marcos left the grand alliance. Here are the senatorial bets of the grand alliance:

Recently, based on a report on PhilStar, Vice Pres. Sara Duterte seemingly campaigned against the candidates endorsed by Pres. Bongbong Marcos. She called on the Filipinos not to vote for the President’s bets saying that these candidates agrees with the Chief Executive not keeping promises to the people.
“Do not vote for his candidates. Because his candidates are telling him it’s OK to lie, it’s OK not to keep your promises to the people,” the Vice President said.
Malacañang has yet to comment on the remarks of Vice Pres. Duterte. Amid the feud between her and Pres. Bongbong Marcos, Vice Pres. Sara Duterte campaigned for Sen. Imee Marcos saying she’s different from Pres. Bongbong Marcos.
