Vitaly Arrested After Harassing Filipinos in BGC
VITALY ZDOROVETSKIY – The Russian content creator was arrested for harassing people in Bonifacio Global City (BGC), Taguig, during a livestream.
A video circulating on X showed him threatening to steal from a woman walking by and mocking her for wearing a face mask. He also snatched a security guard’s hat, placed it on his head, and ridiculed another guard. Authorities later revealed that Zdorovetskiy did more than just harass security personnel—he also stole an industrial fan from a restaurant and took it back to his hotel.
The incident sparked public outrage, prompting social media user Gerry Cacanindin to call for immediate action. “This YouTube streamer harassed Filipinos in BGC. Please @immigPH, @CIDG_PNP, track him down and charge him accordingly. Foreigners should not be allowed to treat Filipinos this way in their own country,” his post read.

Following the outcry, the Taguig City Police confirmed Zdorovetskiy’s arrest. The Bureau of Immigration, in coordination with the Makati Police and the Criminal Investigation and Detection Group (CIDG), carried out the operation. He now faces multiple charges, including unjust vexation, cybercrime, and causing public disturbance.
In a statement, Immigration Commissioner Joel Anthony Viado emphasized that while the Philippines is known for its hospitality, visitors are expected to respect the country’s laws and customs. Zdorovetskiy has since been detained at the Bureau of Immigration facility inside Camp Bagong Diwa in Bicutan, Taguig, as he awaits deportation proceedings.

Meanwhile, Vitaly Zdorovetskiy, born in Russia on March 8, 1992, gained fame for his daring public pranks. After moving to the U.S. as a child, he built a massive following on YouTube with shocking stunts, including running onto a live sports field. His antics led to multiple arrests and public backlash, most notably in 2016 when a fake bomb prank resulted in his arrest.
Despite the controversies, he expanded his content to include fitness and lifestyle, even making a cameo in Natural Born Pranksters (2017). He later apologized for his past pranks and shifted to less harmful content. Vitaly also launched a fitness channel, Vitaly Fit, and promotes brands on Instagram. While his pranks remain divisive, he continues to influence online entertainment, navigating the fine line between humor and offense.
