VP Sara Duterte Says Former Pres. Rodrigo Duterte Called Her
RODRIGO DUTERTE – Vice President Sara Duterte claimed that the former President called on her to remind her not to forget him in The Hague.
Vice Pres. Sara Duterte is now back in the Philippines after she has finalized the legal team of her father for his legal battle before the International Criminal Court. Former Pres. Duterte is faced with an accusation of crimes against humanity before the ICC.
Following her return in the Philippines, Vice Pres. Sara Duterte met with her lawyers for her impeachment trial. According to her, they are more than confident to win the impeachment case. She stressed that she is most confident because of her lawyers.
Vice Pres. Duterte also endorses her senatorial bets in the different campaign sorties. Duterte is endorsing Senator Imee Marcos, Manny Villar’s daughter, and the PDP-Laban bets. Previously, she claimed that her father called her to ask for the fervent campaigning of the candidates of his political party.

Recently, Vice Pres. Sara Duterte joined the campaign sortie of Manila mayoralty candidate Isko Moreno. Based on a post, at the campaign rally, the Vice President revealed that former Pres. Rodrigo Duterte called on her to remind her to campaign for the #Duter10 and not to forget about him in The Hague.
“Alam niyo ho, kawawa siya kasi nung tumawag siya kinwento niya sa akin bakit kailangan diretso sampo ‘yung mga senador. Sinabi niya sa akin… ‘Huwag mo akong kalimutan dito, baka makalimutan mo ako, mabubulok ako dito.’ Ngayon pati ako Mam nagising. Nagising ako na-impeach na ako,” the Vice President said.
Vice Pres. Sara Duterte called on the Filipinos not to vote for the candidates of Pres. Bongbong Marcos. She also criticized the P20 per kilo rice in Visayas. According to her, the fulfillment of the campaign promise is a little too late. She also stressed her doubts on the government’s intention citing that the affordable rice is a nationwide need.
