When VP Sara left The Hague, Duterte’s long-time partner Honeylet Avanceña and their daughter, Veronica “Kitty” Duterte, were left in the Netherlands. However, Kitty had to return to the Philippines for her studies and Honeylet also has to go back for her businesses. Recently, Congressman Paolo Duterte arrived in The Hague, Netherlands.

Cong. Paolo Duterte visibly got the “joker” side of former Pres. Rodrigo Roa Duterte. Despite his shy nature, he managed to pull off some jokes during the interview that sparked laughter from the overseas Filipino workers (OFWs) outside the ICC detention facility.

According to Congressman Duterte, if only he could throw away the OFWs inside the ICC detention facility he would do so as they want to visit former Pres. Rodrigo Roa Duterte. Based on a post of Alvin & Tourism on social media, he also affirmed that their family is closer now amid the ICC legal battle of their patriarch.

Cong. Paolo Duterte who is also known as “Pulong” said it was just now when he realized that it feels good to hug his father. Honeylet Avanceña intervened saying that the father and son had their moment. Affirming that their family is closer now, it is unclear whether the Congressman is joking when he said that he’s recent hug with his father is their fifth in his entire lifetime. Honeylet joked that Pulong loves to hug women.

The Davao City First District Representative will be the one who will stay in The Hague until the day before the election in the Philippines on May 12. Based on the post, he assured that former Pres. Rodrigo Roa Duterte is in a good condition inside the ICC detention facility and he’s in good health.

Pulong also extended the gratitude of the former President to the Filipino people. On behalf of their family, he also thanked everyone who supported them amid the ICC legal battle of his father. Previously, the ICC said that at least 8,500 pages of written evidence are set to be presented against Duterte. Those are apart from the footage that will be presented as evidence against the former President as he faces an accusation of crimes against humanity.
